Vouchers for 20 certified antigen tests offered to first-time vaccinated employees

As of 15 January 2022, the CovidCheck system will be implemented in companies.

In this respect, the Luxembourg Government is now providing all first-time vaccinated persons (i.e. those who have received their first dose of vaccination) with a set of personalised codes allowing them to be tested free of charge while waiting for their full vaccination schedule.

Since Thursday 16 December 2021, after the administration of the first dose of vaccine in a vaccination centre or a physician’s office, first-time vaccinated persons are provided with 20 personalised codes, in addition to the primary vaccination certificate, allowing them to carry out up to 20 certified antigenic self-tests.

Using these codes, it will be possible to make an appointment starting 10 January 2022 via www.covidtesting.lu to carry out a certified antigen test free of charge from 14 January 2022.

After 28 February 2022, the codes will no longer be valid or renewable.

After each test, provided that the result is negative, a certificate attesting to CovidCheck compliance will be given to the person (note that this is not an EUDCC certificate).

In the event of a positive test, the person tested must declare their result on www.covidtracing.public.lu. No certificate will be issued.

It will be possible to make a first appointment from 10 January 2022 at the following test centres:

  • at the Luxexpo-Sud car park in Luxembourg-Kirchberg
  • at P&R Sud in Howald
  • at the car park near the Raemerich roundabout
  • in the ZANO industrial zone in Fridhaff
  • near the Multipurpose Centre in Junglinster

The test centres will be open from 15 January to 28 February 2022:

  • Monday to Thursday from 6am to 8pm
  • Friday from 6am to 1pm and from 4pm to 8pm
  • Saturday from 6am to 10am and from 4pm to 8pm
  • Sunday from 6am to 10am and from 1pm to 8pm

Please note that an appointment is mandatory for any person wishing to get tested. They must present their appointment confirmation and their ID before the test. The antigen tests are valid for 24 hours.
