ALEBA’s legal team is strengthened with the arrival of Elif Ozkok

Elif Ozkok works in the Legal Department of ALEBA.

On December 15, 2020, Elif Ozkok, aged 26, joined the ALEBA’s legal department for her internship. Native from Saint-Avold (France), the young Lady holds a Master 1 in Business Law from the University of Nancy. She is currently enrolled in a Master 2 specializing in corporate law in Luxembourg.

Her integration within the legal department allows her to learn the work of labour law Legal Advisor. During her Master 1 during which she followed a specialty in banking law, Elif researched Luxembourg and found the ALEBA on her way. “Putting law at the service of the employee, being at their side interested me. I said to myself why not do my internship in a trade union, it would allow me to approach the law in a different way,” she says. “That’s where I saw ALEBA’s fight against the wrongly classified senior executives and abuses, I found it interesting,” she continues.

For Elif, there is no doubt: “ALEBA brings me a lot”. Above all, it offers her the opportunity to combine knowledge learned at the university with practical experience in the field.

Enthusiastic, the young lawyer says she likes to travel, cook, and listen to music. She really enjoys spending time with her family, which she considers to be a foundation.

Like the whole ALEBA team, Elif will currently work mainly from home, but can be reached from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 4pm via (+352) 223 228 1, or by email at legal@aleba.lu.

She teams up with Carla Valente and Matthias Lindauer in the Legal department, which oversees legal matters, under the direct responsibility of Roberto Mendolia, President of ALEBA.
