The ALEBA team welcomes Aude Forestier for a second time in the communication department

Aude puts her press expertise and knowledge at the service of ALEBA.

Aude Forestier, a journalist by education, returned to ALEBA’s communication department on 2 November 2020. She comes to put her press expertise and knowledge at the service of Luxembourg’s leading union of bank and insurance employees.

Aude Forestier, a French citizen from Strasbourg, began her career in Luxembourg by working in the editorial staff of the free newspaper “L’essentiel”. In 2013, she joined ALEBA for the first time. She discovered the work and the trade union struggle, the life of the financial centre and its actors. Two years later, she returned to her first love by becoming an economic journalist at the “Quotidien”. After a stint in the economic section of the “Luxemburger Wort” and another in the “Corporate communications” department of the Quintet Private Bank (ex-KBL epb), Aude wanted to take up a new challenge.

ALEBA opened its doors to her and gave her the opportunity to strengthen the communication team by becoming a communication and community manager. “I am very happy to find a team of professionals dedicated to the employees of the Luxembourg financial center and to put my know-how and dynamism at their service,” she says.

Very sporty, Aude enjoys Zumba, cycling and walking in groups. She loves travelling, cooking and artistic photography. She is passionate about pin-up and rockabilly culture.

Like the rest of the ALEBA team, Aude currently works mainly from home, but can be reached from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 4pm via (+352) 223 228 -1, or by email at

She collaborates closely with Sandra Carvalho in the Communication department, which is under the direct responsibility of Laurent Mertz, ALEBA’s General Secretary.
