ALEBA is hiring a trade union coordinator (m/f)

The position to be filled is full-time, permanent contract and available immediately.
It is classified as “D” in the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Banks.

Job description

  • Taking care of and informing members and staff delegations on social law, labour law, social benefits and personal taxation
  • Participation in the negotiation of Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Promotion, representation and coordination of ALEBA in companies, during events organized by ALEBA or by Luxembourg companies or institutions
  • Management of members’ database
  • Project management

Education and requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of higher education.
  • Ideally experience as a staff delegate in a company in the financial sector (or other) in Luxembourg is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Luxembourgish, French, German and English, both spoken and written (including translations)
  • Knowledge of common IT tools (Word – Excel – Powerpoint – Teams – etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Luxembourg labour and social laws
  • Autonomous and flexible without neglecting team spirit, rigorous, keen to take initiatives, curious and with great interpersonal skills
  • Sense of responsibility and commercial sense
  • Organisational skills, combined with a spirit of analysis and synthesis
  • Empathy, open-minded and adherence to the values of solidarity and social commitment to defend the rights and interests of employees, residents and cross-border workers.
  • Driving licence B
