The Administrative Commission for the Coordination of Social Security Systems in the European Union has announced a a 6-month transitional period of “administrative tolerance” from July 1 to December 31, 2022.

This will allow frontier workers to continue to carry out their telework activities without fear of changing their social security affiliation if they exceed the 25% threshold initially planned. This transition period only applies to social security.

The agreements for the fiscal aspect only apply for a quota of days specific to each country, as a reminder: 24 days for Belgium, 29 for France and 19 for Germany.
